Procycling photographer Tim De Waele caught this dramatic crash, including the reactions of some spectators, on stage 6 of the Tour Down Under. Angelo Tulik of Europcar crashed on a corner as he and Katusha’s Maxim Belkov were trying to bridge up Drapac’s Will Clarke on lap 1. Tulik abandoned but wasn’t badly hurt. Incredibly, Belkov stayed on his bike, made it up to Clarke and stayed clear for 15 of the 18 laps. Chapeau!
